Islesburgh House Hostel is located in the centre of Lerwick and offers quality accommodation to the budget traveller and is open from April to September.
If you are arriving by ferry the Hostel is no more than a 10/15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Turn left when leaving the ferry terminal and follow the road to King Harald Street, passing through two mini-roundabouts on the way. Turn right and walk up King Harald Street and you'll find us on the right hand side, opposite the public parks. The comfortable accommodation is provided in dormitories, group and family rooms. A number of exclusive use rooms are available. The hostel has limited availability from October to March for groups.

Between April and September it operates as Islesburgh House Hostel offering superb quality visitor accommodation at budget price. Two floors are fully accessible for disabled users and the hostel offers two or four person bedroom accommodation, or group dormitories.
The fully equipped hostel has 64 bed spaces and is central
to all amenities. The hostel has one of the few 5-star awarded by Visit Scotland and is open to individuals, families and groups of
hostellers/holidaymakers. We only accept bookings from genuine holidaymakers and cannot accommodate workers. How to book:
